Wyboston Lakes announces new ‘Quite exceptional’ Spa development

Wyboston Lakes is the UK's largest independently owned single site specialist conference, management training and leisure destination, located on a private 350 acre rural estate on the A1 midway between Cambridge and Milton Keynes.

Wyboston Lakes has the choice and flexibility of offering three self-contained venues, all of which have their own restaurant, bar, relaxation areas and bedrooms.  Since August 2010, the Waterfront Conference Centre has been redeveloped as the Wyboston Lakes Hotel allowing Wyboston Lakes to capitalise very successfully on the growing market for leisure facilities. The remodelling and refurbishment of the hotel's public areas was completed in March 2011 and the new venue has been very well received with occupancy now close to 80%.

Commenting on a series of new developments and investment programmes, the company has announced today that it plans to build a premium Day and Residential Spa within Wyboston Lakes Hotel.

Managing Director, Mark Jones says "Our quite exceptional Spa development, designed by SYNTAX is a very exciting addition to our portfolio.  It's going to offer a highly enjoyable spa journey through the extensive thermal suite offering hot and cold therapy, along with great treatments from leading product houses and areas to chill and relax."

The Spa will incorporate eleven therapy rooms including three couples rooms, steam rooms, water beds and relaxation areas with reading pods.  A signature feature is the external hydro-pool and kelo sauna in the south-facing spa garden together with an open air fireplace and sun loungers.

More information on the development will be released soon.
